Wow. Can we talk about this for a minute? Not to get too deep, but what a moving piece of film. "All the Real Girls" was written by, David Gordon Green and the film’s star, Paul Schneider. It debuted at Sundance back in January of 2003, and featured a young Zooey Deschanel. We should also note, the soundtrack was performed by turn of the century post-rock favorite, Explosions in the Sky. As if it couldn't get any cooler.
David Gordon Green found beauty in the everyday, even making a factory look like art – breathing life into the machinery. This is the kind of movie you “have to be in the mood for.” But man, does it hit the spot. It’s nearly impossible not to feel something when music meets visual in this way. Mr. Gordon Green, we tip our hats to you.
